We have migrated to another company's Exchange environment and are ready to decommission our Exchange environment. When we deployed Exchange 2010, we needed to prepare our AD schema. I have read many articles and cannot find any information on any action
we need to take to modify the AD schema before/after the uninstallation of Exchange in our domain. I only found that I need to uninstall Exchange 2010 from Add/Remove programs and relevant AD Exchange-related entries will be
removed. I also read that any other manual uninstallation is unsupported by Microsoft. I have already removed the Federation trust, all mailboxes, arbitration mailboxes, contacts, databases, connectors, offline address books, public folders
and distribution groups. Please let me know if there is any documentation about what needs to be done for the AD schema when removing the final Exchange server in an environment. Thanks!
