We currently the following setup:
Windows 2008 Server, running AD/DC environment with Exchange 2007. Recently have been experiencing a unexpected hang every Friday morning at 01:03.
This morning we observer Processor 2 Spike to 100%, server became unresponsive, but we could then see 3 and 4 spike to 100%. The server then restarted itself.
The secondary AD/DC also experienced the same issue, at the same time, but upon restart it doesn't fully come back online and requires a hard restart to get it back.
We are unable to establish what process is causing this to happen, due to the fact that the servers don't respond after the initial spike.
Any help or ideas most appreciated.
