I need to migrate from my Exchange 2010 environment to 2013. Main reason for doing is our current Data Center is being decommissioned, Exchange 2010 is EOL in January and I need to buy me some time to move people to O365.
Site 1 is my current EX2010 site called "Corp"
Site 2 is new Site called "colo"
What I'd like to do is spin up new EX2013 box (all roles) in Site 2 use that to proxy email and services to the Ex2010 which is in site 1.
I understand I need move the External facing service to site 2, most of that work is DNS.
I'll then migrate users for Ex2010 to Ex2013, once everyone is there decommission Ex2010 machines.
My real question is can I have 2 Exchange environments in 2 AD Sites?
