want to mount edb file to extract mailbox

I have an old priv1.EDB file and need to extract a mailbox using ExMerge (the EDB came off our defunct Exch2007)

I am trying to install Exch2007 on an old server just to run ExMerge on the file, but cannot get the install to complete even though the Member Server is on our domain now; please advise
