We have just merged two companies, we are on Exchange 2010 SP2, they are on Domino. We're migrating their mailboxes in to Exchange but they can't use our domain as their user domain.
exdom.local - our main user domain with Exchange 2010
dodom.local - new merged domain with Domino
User in dodom.local will need to use dodom\user as their logon account.
With this in mind, I have set up the trust and linked mailboxes, and for most part it works fine. However, during the day, without fail, they get a password prompt. We can't have this unfortunately.
My testing indicates this is an issue with free/busy as I get the prompt when accessing meeting requests or trying to book a new meeting, but if I ignore it and cli where the message says "Need Password", it reconnects and I can eventually see the free/busy information.
The two sites are in separate AD sites.
The clients are showing "use HTTP" as on, which I want to stop, could this be the issue?
