Trying to find good solution for Exchange 2013 spam filtering.
Have installed antispam agents on Transport service on Mailbox server.
I don’t use IP Blocklist Providers, because there is no way to accept messages from “blocked” IPs but plase them to Junk folder. Am i right ?
So i use only Content Filtering, with setting to place ALL email to junk folder with SCL 4 and up. No delete or reject.
The system is used in Lithuania, so major of emails comes in Lithuanian language. It is very sad, but most of Lithuanian spam gets SCL rating 1 or 0 :(
With English spam it copes better...
I don’t see any interest in using bad words or phrases for spam blocking because it would be constant work to adding these phrases to exchange, but new spam will go to users mailbox. Nor adding senders domains to white or black list seems not logic.
So with this configuration i get this: many spam mails goes to inbox of users, but many good mail goes to Junk folder…
All short messages goes to Junk folder, all repeated messages (for example alerts from monitoring) goes to Junk folder…
As users uses various email clients: Macs, iPhones, androids, owa, i understand that i can’t user exchange function “trust e-mail from my Contact” ?
Any suggestions how to cope with spam in my situation ?
