Exch2k13 - Virtual Server and iSCSI - 02 vHD from HyperVisor or 01 from HyperVisor + 01 iSCSI (using Windows iSCSI initiator from that VM)?

Hi,

we are deploying a new Exchserver in a Virtual environment, what would be the best approach - keeping in mind the performance and obviously supported by Microsoft?

• provide only 01 disk from storage to the HiperVisor and then use it to install Windows Server 2012 + use the iSCSI innitiator from Windows in a way that VirtualServer can access another disk from Storage (second disk to to store databases).

or

• provide 02 disks from storage to the HiperVisor and then use one for Windows and another to store database.
