Hello! I have a strange issue where the Exchange 2010 Management Console works with no problems except when attempting to close. When exiting a "Waiting for all snap-ins to complete" dialogue box is displayed. The mmc.exe process begins to use
50% of the CPU resources and remains pegged at that level. The process at this point will remain frozen and will remain that way until it's ended via task manager or Process Explorer. Here are the stats and troubleshooting performed thus far:
Basics:
OS: Server 2008R2
Specs: 4 Xeon E5620 Processors and 10GB RAM
Exchange: 2010 SP3 - Problem occurred on SP2 as well
Updates: Fully patched as of Today
Troubleshooting:
1) Clean Boot
2) Ran Exchange 2010 BPA - No Issues
3) Checked Application and System Logs - No issues
3) Checked MMC.exe using Process Explorer - When hung roughly 24 ntdll.dll threads - 2 of which are each using 25% of CPU
I have not been able to find any good information on this issue. Any help would be appreciated!
Ryan
