Last Logon Time

Hi,

 In Exchange 2003 I looked into the Mailboxes on a Mailbox Store. It has a label Last Logon Time. What is this last logon time? Where does it get it from? I have users already using another email system which is web based and they are no longer using outlook on their PCs.
