I have 3 Exchange servers all running Server 2012 Standard and Exchange 2013. I have a 4th server running Server 2012 Standard acting as a Witness server. The Witness server does not have exchange on it. The Witness server has access to the Exchange Trusted
Subsystem and has file sharing enabled.
I have one server that had all the mailboxes on it.
I created the computer object for the dag, disabled it and gave it full permissions to Exchange Trusted Subsystems.
I removed the databases from the 2 servers with out mailboxs that I plan to join to the DAG with the primary server.
I then created the DAG in the ECP pointing it to the witness server and gave it a static IP. I joined my server with the mailboxs to the DAG. I then joined a second server with the mailbox role to the DAG. I then went to join a 3rd server to the DAG but at this point it fails. I receive the error:
error
A server-side database availability group administrative operation failed. Error The operation failed. CreateCluster errors may result from incorrectly configured static addresses. Error: An error occurred while attempting a cluster operation. Error: Cluster
API '"AddClusterNode() (MaxPercentage=100) failed with 0x5b4. Error: This operation returned because the timeout period expired"' failed.. [Server: Ex-MBCAS1.MyDomain.local]
I have tried disabling IPV6 (tried it enabled as well), disabling TCP Checksum Offload (IPV4), Changing IPs, Teaming is disabled, Windows Firewall is Off on all servers.
All servers are in the same subnet. All servers can ping eachother by name and IP. All servers have static IPs.
I have seen tons of posts on various sites about this issue but I have covered everything on those sites. Any other ideas?
