mailbox statistics

Hi everyone

1. I have active directory users lets say 1,2 till 500, i need to generate a report for these active directory users who has last logged on to my exchange server, i am using exchange 2013. I want to generate by their user accounts not displayname.


2 i am trying to generate a report for user who has last logged on to his email.

When i use the command below command, lastlogontime is empty but the user has emails wht does this mean.

[PS] C:\Windows\system32>get-MailboxStatistics  test@mydomain.com

DisplayName               ItemCount    StorageLimitStatus                                                LastLogonTime

I have active directory domain users lets say 1,2,3 till 500, i need to generate a report for 1 to 100 users who has last logged on to my exchange server, i am using exchange 2013. I want to generate by their user accounts not displayname.( my domain user accounts are 1,2,3,4,5 etc..)

Hi

please do help me to generate report, who have last logged into exchange, i need samaccountname also,I am using Exchange Server 2013.

I am trying to run this report but it doesnot show

Get-MailboxStatistics -Database "MyExchangeDB" | Select DisplayName, SamAccountName, LastLogged
OnUserAccount, ItemCount, TotalItemSize, LastLogonTime |  Export-CSV C:\mailbox.csv 

please do help me to add email address in this report and also enabled users in active directory

Exchange 2007 CCR transport server stops sending to mailboxs

Our environment is composed of a single Exchange 2007 (Version: 08.03.0348.002)server running cas and hub roles  and 2 MBX servers running in a cluster.   Event logs (mbx, cluster, application, system) look like the same as when it running.  Currently there is 700 messages queued in the mapidelivery.  I have restarted the transport service and a few messages when through but then mailflow stops.

New-MailboxSearch on Journaling Mailbox AQS Search Query help needed.

I'm trying to perform a MailboxSearch on my singular Journaling Mailbox.  

I'm trying to extract all e-mails TO or FROM "joe.smith", but as we know, the Journaling Mailbox stores the original e-mails as attachments.

Fortunately, the "actual e-mail" in the Journaling Mailbox has a body which contains meta-data, including the attached e-mails FROM and TO.

I think it's safe to assume I can search the Journaling Mailbox for any e-mail with:

Body containing "Sender: Joe.Smith" OR "Recipient: Joe.Smith"

...but my AQS for the SearchQuery parameters must be incorrect because I never get proper results, if any.

Is my assumption correct, and what is the proper SearchQuery (AQS) for this?

Is it possible to edit the resource request notifications sent from room booking requests?  I'm trying to create a workflow between our room bookings and a ticketing system, but need more information in the request email to parse.

Outlook appointment reminders coming from deleted calendar

I have a user who is getting Outlook Appoint reminders from a deleted calendar

This was another users calendar, which was part of a mailbox restored to this user for reference. This "restored folder/mailbox" has been deleted, but appointment reminders are still popping up.

Could not find assembly or object type associated with monitor identity 'ECP\EacSelfTestProbe'

I see that my HealthReport shows the ECP site as unhealthy. I have restarted the application pool and would like to invoke the probe again.

I tried running the command as per this following article

I am getting the following error. Perhaps I have the syntax or probe name wrong?

External email address in AD- General - Email field

Hi,
We have a hybrid environment with students having mailboxes on Exchange Online and staff mailboxes on Exchange on-premises. Parents Active Directory user accounts are not mail-enabled or mailbox-enabled.
We need to populate Active directory with parents email addresses for integration purposes with other systems. Do you envisage any issues with using AD E-mail field to enter external email addresses?

MTU value and outlook is randomly disconnected

Dears,

We have outlook clients get disconnected randomly in branch sites from exchange 2013 and connect randomly back again...I suspect MTU value is the issue but how can I verify this? note that in main site (in which exchange is installed) outlook is working fine.

I did the below to troubleshoot this issue:

  1. Pinging mail.domain.com works fine with some network delay
  2. Trace route from client to mail.domain.com and it shows direct connection while it should not, they are in two different vlans (main site and branch site)
  3. Test email auto configuration and it works even outlook is disconnected (which do not make sense)
  4. Test accessing OWA, it worked but it is slow
  5. Test creating new outlook profile, it worked but hanging .. seems got into timeout while configuring in the wizard

rom the behavior above it seems to me there is some network issues preventing stable connection for your outlook clients in branches to exchange and I am not sure if MTU is the issue.

I Need to convert Exchange EDB to PST file

OST file of one of the users has got corrupt, due to which he is not able to access his mails. He has asked me to provide him a solution to get access to his mailbox back. Being an Exchange Admin, I can convert the exchange EDB to PST, which the user can import into his Outlook to get the mails back. I have tried to export PST file from Exchange 2013 with powershell script but something went wrong and PST could not be exported. So, I am in a search of any alternate solution to Export Exchange EDB to PST.

Please help as I need to provide the used with PST file asap.

Disable Auto-Mapping for the complete environment instead per user using the Shell

You can’t’ use the EMC to disable auto-mapping. We all know that! We also know that we can grant full access permission to users mailbox and disable the auto-mapping feature per user with using the Shell.
The primary problem is that some users have full access to so many mailboxes but can'tkeepa good overview in outlook, recognizable!

Is there also a possibility to disable auto-mapping for the complete existing environment included from now to the future without doing anything in the future from applying the disabling?

Hi everyone, I am using Exchange 2013I have disabled few user accounts in active directory and also i need to disable their mailboxes in exchange.So if i disable the mailboxes in exchange ,is there any time interval in exchange which will delete the disabled mailbox. I want my users mailboxes to be disabled but not deleted.

Event ID 4110 : Need Help

Hello Team

Exchange 2010 , In our DAG database copies, most of the database are getting the bellow event in the event viewer

The Microsoft Exchange Replication service has suspended log replay on database 'EX01' because the current copy queue length of 13 exceeds the threshold of 12. Replay will automatically be resumed when the queue length falls below 5.

i have searched in google,but no expected results around . we have lagged databases copies for 3 days.

is there any value or attribute, that we can the threshold .?

since the lagged copies (Replay Queue length) are more or high , is that expected behavior?

can we do the database re-seeding ?

what is the best way to handle this event ID  4110

Exchange 2013: Correcting mailbox delegation - Full Access

Not sure how to correct this issue.  I have an Admin that setup the Exchange 2013.  The admins account is now added to every new account (Resources, shared mailboxes etc.)  I know how to remove the auto mapping so it does not show in the admin OWA and outlook. 

I would like to just correct the setting so the account is not automatically added. (Tester is not the real name of the account.)

Security warning popup in Outlook after UCC cert change. What did I miss?

Single Server Exchange 2013, Outlook 2013.

Periodically, users get a Security Alert as if they were still trying to connect to the internal server name. I don't see why. They do not get it when initially setting up the Outlook profile, so I think Autodiscover is working properly. Something else is wrong.

Users ARE able to access their email fine, just get an annoying cert warning every few hours and nothing I've tried helps. As you can see in the pictures below, Outlook connection info doesn't mention the internal server name at all.

Certificate:
UCC Certifcate has both mail.domain.org and autodiscover.domain.org

DNS:
Internal DNS resolves mail.domain.org to internal server's IP.
External DNS resolves mail.domain.org to correct external WAN IP.
Internal DNS looks like it has the right A records for mail.domain.org and autodicover.domain.org

MalwareBytes and other programs that scan files for viruses and threats used on systems with Outlook 2013

I cannot find this addressed specifically anywhere and i have asked the specific vendors of the products as well and usually get nowhere.  Because the problem is random and not specific to any one user but seems to affect everyone at some point and also seems to eventually resolve itself, it is hard to get anyone to take responsibility for it.  But we never had the issue before on normal outlook and it only began afeter we went to exchange 2013 server email.

While i am not saying for sure it is any one specific program, we all use the same ones and all have the same issues eventually.  Also all have found that the same "fix" works.  Turn off Malwarebytes.  Instantly connection is made and all email that has backed up sometimes for hours will begin to flow in both directions.

I would rather not remove this software aas it has protected us quite well foer a long time but the tech Support there is not willing to admit anything and I cannot figure out what files to exclude in order to get the email to work.  The articles i have located re Microsoft Forefront etc also mention excluding folders but again i am not able to find any specific folders with regard to exchange 2013.

Any help or advice appreciated

Junk mail

I notice most of my trusted mail is going to the junk folder and don't tell me is all back listed because even my calendar notification go to junk mail why why why I didn't change anything on my web mail I use Firefox and explorer same thing.

I think there should be an option to right click to trust mail but I cant find it.

Outlook 2010 autodiscover

HI All

i am on site with a client doing a windows 8.1 roll out they have office 2010 clients.

they have recently upgraded to exchange 2013,

I am trying to configure the outlook client (2010) to autodiscover the profiles on first launch so the wizard does not appear

have done this many times before however for somereason this site the client cannot auto discover the exchange autodiscover address

I was wondering if anyone knows what settings I need to set to have this correctly configured
