Can someone help me Script/command to get list of mailboxes with no SendAS, Send on Behalf on other mailboxes and vice versa.

Meaning mailboxes which have no  SendAS, Send on Behalf on other mailboxes and no other mailboxes have send as and send on behalf on those mailboxes, mailboxes who have no permissions.

Hi, I have two Exchange Server, ServerA and ServerB. I would like to copy DatabaseA from ServerB to ServerA. I used EMC to "add mailbox database copy" but found below error. I checked the databaseA.edb had been copied to ServerA. The log folder is empty. I checked the services of two Exchange Server, the Microsoft Exchange Search Indexer is running.

In Exchange 2007, we can move mailbox immediately. I am finding real difficulty moving mailboxes in Exchange 2013, it takes long time do complete the job.

Is there any way we can move mailbox immediately like Exchange 2007?

Hello, I've succesfully migrated from a single Exchange 2010 STD to a single Exchange 2013 STD.

The old Exchange 2010 was uninstalled and correctly removed.

However, my Exchange 2013 keeps logging some errors (Error 1121) in the application log:

The Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service was unable to process a request due to an unexpected error.
Request GUID: '94ce118c-7f93-413e-aa48-5add05cce5bb'
Database GUID: 'cd830b2f-6233-4d73-aaee-8f4e8a164403'
Error: Database '88e47091-b918-409d-820c-c3e9bc23168f' doesn't exist.

I think that these messages are somehow related to some failed move requests during the mailboxes migration.

Nevertheless, a get-moverequest can't find any pending or failed move request.

A get-moverequest '94ce118c-7f93-413e-aa48-5add05cce5bb' gives me as result 'Couldn't find a move request that corresponds to the specified identity '94ce118c-7f93-413e-aa48-5add05cce5bb' '

How can I find and remove these failed requests?

Currently we have a mail solution hosted by google for endpointautomation.co.uk and as our organisation grows we are looking to move to hosting our own Exchange 2013 solution, the problem is the current Active directory solution for users and devices is called eas.co.uk. Is there a design/configuration I can implement Exchange 2013 while retaining the same mail address but for users within a different active directory?

we have a situation where we have to different domain names for internal and external .local and .co we have a certificate for external users but for internal users we need some f our clients to connect to the .local domain and they are receiving certificate warning when opening outlook, we want them to connect locally without having internet access to their computers we already assigned the smtp service to external certificate so we can't assign it to both. is there any easy solution for our case

We are an Exchange 2013 organization and I was asked by an employee to stop mail delivery to one of his addresses that is assigned via email policy because it is overrun with spam. If I remove the address from his mailbox properties and uncheck the option that says: "Automatically update email addresses based on the email address policy applied to this recipient" will this cause Exchange to reject messages sent to the address that I removed?

I have the following error in Event viewer for the SMS 2011 that I manage.  I am not proficient with certificate management but will be soon reading up this weekend.  Question:  if the Subject and the Issuer are the same, does this make it a self signed certificate?

Error:  "There is no valid SMTP TLS certificate for the FQDN of %. The existing certificate for the FQDN has expired.  The continued use of that FQDN will mail flow problems. . . . "

I am attempting to get another and need a little direction in how to do this.  I know I need to issue the "Get-ExchangeCertificate" in order to ensure that I get all the fields necessary to prevent certificate errors for the clients.  Please advice on next steps.

I have two physical location. site 1 has exchange servres configued and site 2 has only users with no exchange. Both the sites are conneted by a low speed WAN link. The internal oultook anywhere is outlook.contoso.com and external outlook anywhere is mail.contoso.com

Now that the WAN link is down between site 1 and site 2, when a users in site 2 launch oultook he/she may not be able to communicate to exchange through outlook.contoso.com; in this case will the outlook in site 2 use mail.contoso.com (external outlook anywhere) through internet ?

Should it return something or is it just setting the variable to $EdgeSyncServiceConfigVARand I should just run the next line as is after changing the path I want?

Does anyone have experience with this script?

Are these ALL the log files to move?

we have two exchange 2013 servers in dag group.  one server has a receive connector that we point all of our devices that email to, such as copiers, and our AS400 server, so they relay through that connector, then out through exchange.

I have a couple of domains we email to suddenly not accepting our emails.  sbcglobal being one.

first error I see is: 451 4.1.8 Possibly forged hostname for 209.156.40.158

second error I see is :450 4.7.1 Client host rejected: cannot find your hostname, [209.156.40.158]

but that is the IP address of our WAN connection to the internet, not our MX record.

now, if I go to mxtoolbox and run through all of their checks, reverse dns works.

the only errors I have are for DMARC, missing or invalid record, SPF is not setup, DNS, SOA expire value out of recommended range, and SMTP, does not support TLS.

and we have not changed anything in our setup since we added the second exchange server many months ago, so not sure why suddenly we have these errors.

can someone point me in right direction?

New install of Exchange 2013 CU9 on 2012R2 currently coexisting with one Exchange 2007 server. Everything seems to be working OK, just wondering if I need to do something to address this error (which I can't seem to find any information about online).

Exchange 2013 SP1 with 2 member DAG. Internal email works fine but external email does not work at all (sending or receiving). This happened last time the server was updated with windows updates and exchange updates. First, the windows updates were done. Then put into maintenance mode and exchange updates were done. Reboot and all the services start and everything appears fine but no external email. Last time i remember something about queue poisoning. Nothing in the queues. Here is something from the log:

Both servers are accessible. I have restarted the transport service and i can send a couple external emails but it soon reverts back to getting/sending no email externally. Here is the first event log from dagmember1:

Renamed the queue folder and started transport service back->same issue. Restarted both dag servers->same issue. What is the best way to troubleshoot this issue?

  We have a single exchange 2013 server with Mbx and CAS server co-located. We want to build a DAG and CAS in high availability. I have built 2 new exchange 2013 server with DAG in the same site and started moving the mailboxes from the old server to the DAG.

I have started bulding 2 CAS servers in NLB in the same site. the old server's internal ulrs and oultook anywhere is imail.contoso.com. I plan to assing outlook.contoso.com for the new CAS server's internal url and internal outlook anywhere. During this phase how do i avoid outlook clients connecting to the new CAS servers. When i completely build the CAS i want all the oultook client to connect only to the new CAS server, how do i do that?

I tried  Get-MailboxStatistics -Database "Mailbox Database XXXXXXXXXXXXX" | Select DisplayName,  TotalItemSize | Sort-Object TotalItemSize -Descending 

but i want to change  DisplayName to User logon name.

I have a question about the correct Global catalog sizing for an Exchange 2013 deployment.

On technet page, recommandation is to have a 1:8 ratio of active mailbox cores and global catalog cores.

In the Exchange 2013 sizer, If I have a design with 2 sites, I have the following results :

Number of Processor Cores Utilized : 6
Total Number of Servers / DAG / datacenter : 8

So based on my calculation, 6x8 = 48 then divide by 8 = 6 cores required

The calculator displays : 4 Global Catalog Cores required. Why ?

Services seem to be fine but i do have a group of users that complain that their outlook 2013 email clients will go non-responsive a few times a days. Wondering if this is related. Also this error is appearing every few minutes. Anyone else experiencing this?
