Exchange 2013 mailbox migration stalled duration
I am in the process of migrating mailboxes from Exchange 2007 to 2013. The moves seem to take an awfully long time. I am migrating a batch of 10 users and the total mailbox size is 32GB. It has been running for 12 hours and is not complete. I have notice
that there is a "Stalled Duration Time" what does that represent? Also, what should I expect in terms of migration time?

Exchange 2007/2013 Hybrid Certificate
Hi,
I have Exchange 2007 two servers in my environment and planing to migrate users to Office 365. For this as the front end i'm going to deploy Exchange 2013 server. I know that OWA redirection is
working Higher version to Lower version. (Exchnage 2013 to Exchange 2007).
I have two concerns on this.
1. As the OWA redirection is working higher version to lower version, i will change CAS services and Autodiscover service to Exchange 2013 Server? Is this a good practice? Once do this are we getting
any client issues?
2. My Exchange certificate has "mail.abc.com" SAN. Can we use the same certificate to build the hybrid with Office 365?

Problems with attachments through OWA .ashx and buttons in premium version OWA Exchange 2010

I'll just add that some of the most functions in premium version does not work properly after clicking on one of the operating buttons such Options also appears in 404 in a small window, which is not in the light version.
I get tired for a long time, putting a bug rather configure IIS and .NET but to no avail.
Restoring the IIS backup does nothing. I Renewable moments before the error SSL certificate but rather has nothing to do? CU and all the amendments server are current.

We know that Public folder is not indexed but we have a feeling that after we have put CU12 -> CU14 upgrade it caused search not working anymore on public folders...

Unable to start Microsoft Exchange search host controller in exchange 2013

I am unable to start the microsoft search host controller in exchange 2013 an getting the below error.Please need support.
This error shows when I start the service in CAS server - Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

noderunner.exe consuming too much memorhy
Hi
I have run by mistake following command
Get-MessageTrackingLog -Server Mailbox01 -Start "10/28/2016 09:00:00" -End "12/18/2015 17:00:00" -Sender "user@domain.com" | Out-GridView
After this noderunner.exe started using too much memory and at this point i cannot do anything server is almost out of memory. Is it safe to terminate this process noderunner.exe so that i can get memory back.
I wanted to search tracking log but it was apparently mistake.
Any way to quickly recover from it

IMAP - Complete Configuration
Hi All,
I deployed a brand new Single Exchange 2013 Server with combined roles for Internal Use ONLY. I'm using a cert issued by Internal Enterprise Root CA. I've included the names imap.domain.com in it.
To configure IMAP I started both the IMAP Services in Exchange 2013 Server. After which I tested with the command,
Test-IMAPConnectivity and the result is SUCCESS.
When I'm configuring the IMAP profile in Outlook I'm getting error when configuring the profile. The Logon happens successfully but send email fails.
I want to know the complete configuration of IMAP.
Do I need to set InternalConnectionSettings because it is already set to server FQDN:port:ssl , FQDN:port:tls. I want to know which is incoming server name and outgoing server name. Do I need to set internal server fqdn.
I need assistance in complete configuration, like what should be authentication settings,
Do I need to Disabled the EnableGSSAPIAndNTLMAuth parameter.
Set-IMAPSettings -EnableGSSAPIAndNTLMAuth $false

unable to send on behalf even when allowed
Exchange 2013 cu10
i'm trying to give my self "Send As" permission for the mailbox of the administrator so that the From: will show the admin's name and email address. however, when i try to add myself in the "Send As", i get access denied. i am a member of the domain admin, enterprise admins, and Exchange admin group in Active Directory. what else is required to allow me to "Send As" from that mailbox?

Public folder - apply changes to public folders and subfolders (slow)
Hi guys.
Exchange 2013.
Applying changes to public folder permission.
We are doing it thru Exchange Admin Center.
We wish to submit permission for a several public folders by marking APPLY CHANGES TO THIS PUBLIC FOLDER AND ALL ITS SUBFOLDERS.
The thing is that it takes a lot of time for task to be completed, and there arent very large numbers of subfolders in public folders (lets say maximum 50?).
Is there a way to achieve this with some other tool, or use powershel script?
The idea is to remove all the permissions, and set custom users and their permissions...

Sharing free/busy calendar information between two trusted AD domains, Exchange on-prem and O365
We have two sites, each with its own AD domain. There is a trust set up between them. One site has Exchange 2013 on-premises and the other has just migrated to O365. We wish to share calendar free/busy information between the two.
I have been looking at several methods to do this and it seems the closest is using Azure AD Connect - but this presupposes non-trusted AD domains. What method should we be using that would achieve our goal?

Error when Creating resource mailbox "Cannot open ..Microsoft System Attendant.."
Exchange 2013 CU6 on Srv2012R2, everything migrated from Exchange 2007, old server doing nothing but not yet uninstalled.
Creating Room mailbox from Shell gives no error unless I run get-calendarprocessing right after. I then get: "Cannot open mailbox /o=.... cn= Microsoft System Attendant".
If I wait a minute, then get-calendarprocessing is okay. The same happens if I use the GUI/ECP, it states that the mailbox was created, but cannot view details because MS System Attendant cannot be opened. Something seems not to be updating fast enough somewhere but I cannot figure out what and where...
Since there is no System Attendant in Exchange 2013 I wonder where it gets this from.. Arbitration mailboxes seem okay.

Automatically Print Attachments
Our AP team uses an unmonitored email box for incoming invoices. They get several hundred per day, they would like any attachment (Document, Spreadsheet, PDF) sent to that email address to automatically print once the email is received.
Is there anyway within exchange to automate this, if not, is anyone familiar with a 3rd party tool that would accomplish this?

Active Directory Password Policy
I have multiple domains (4) in my environment. I have 1 email domain of something@xyz.com We have users that log into xyz.com as their home domain and then we have users the log into the 3 other domains as their home domain. Everyones email resides on domain xyz.com. We have an Exchange server 2013 and migrating to 2016 within 2 weeks. We want to apply a password policy to all logon domains but not to email accounts that logon to another domain other than xyz.com. Example user A logs on domain abc.com and their email resides on domain xyz.com, I want the password policy of abc.com to apply to that user but do not want the password policy of xyz.com to apply to that user because they never login to xyz.com domain. They only use xyz.com for their email. Is this possible and if so how?
