Hi All,
I'm sort of stuck on the Exchange 2013 Probe Monitors, Monitors such as Imap, ActiveSync, Pop3 and FrontEndTransport keep failing. To fix/check the issue I'm following the below links:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms.exch.scom.activesync(v=exchg.150).aspx
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms.exch.scom.imap(v=exchg.150).aspx
For example typing in Invoke-MonitoringProbe ActiveSync\ActiveSyncCTPProbe -Server server1.contoso.com | Format-List
I will get the following error:
WARNING: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index
Not sure why I'm getting this error.
For Imap testing i.e. typing in Invoke-MonitoringProbe IMAP\ImapCTPProbe -Server server1.contoso.com | Format-List
I will get the following error:
WARNING: No mailboxes were found to use in the CTP probe.
I'm absolutely stumped on why I'm getting these errors.
I'm running my Exchange servers on Hyper-V 2012 (My Hyper-V 2012 is clustered and managed by VMM 2012 SP1)
I have 8 Exchange 2013 Enterprise CU6 nodes, with 2 DAGS
Each Exchange server is running 4 cores of Processor and 24Gig of Ram (Not using Dynamic Memory)
If someon can shed some light on this issue it would be most appreciated.
Regards
Mike
Hi friends,
Communicate at the protocol layer of the network stack. This is one of architectural changes in exchange server 2013.
I understand it theoretically. but could you anyone explain with some practical scenario how it was doing in earlier version of Exchange servers (2010 or 2007) and now doing in Exchange 2013 version?
Thanks

Hi!
Can the self signed Certificate in Exchange 2013 work with Mobile Devices?
Hi MS Community,
Did any one have experienced this error and found a solution?
Background:
We have successfully deployed (I think) a Office 365 hybrid configuration, we can migrate users from on-premise to cloud O365 and back.but, every time we opened the EMC on our Exchange 2010 upgraded to SP 3, this error message pops out.
this happens when we open the EMC >> Microsoft Exchange >> O365 >>Recipient configuration.
hope somebody can help us.
Thanks.
Mark Josef
One of our public address books has multiple groups defined. From Outlook, if you double click on a contact in a group, it says "Could not find Contact... It may have been deleted or moved..."
The same contact with the same email address is listed in the address book by company name, and you can double click on it to open it. If I remove and re-add the contact to the group, then I can double click on it in the group, but there are just too many groups and contacts to make this a practical solution. This happens from any Outlook application signed in as any user on our network, and also from Outlook Web Access. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?
Hi all,
I´m trying to Import Holidays into the outlook-calendars of all the employees of my Company. Therefore I created a sample.hol file containing the Dates and imported this into an empty calendar. I then exported it to a .pst file which I now want to Import into the calendars of all users. The pst seems fine - I can Import it in the test System without any hassle.
However, when I try to Import the pst on the production Exchange (Ex2013 CU10), I always get the error pasted below.
The user running the script has Import/Export rights, the Servers are all up and running fine, the allowed message sizes are set to high enough values. Any idea what could be causing this?
Thanks!
Best regards
Nico

I have an issue that's got me beat, hoping someone can make some suggestions. Not sure if it's Outlook or Exchange, but the problem follows the user on different workstations.
Setup is Exchange 2013 running on Server 2012 R2 on small domain-based local LAN, Clients are Windows 7 with Outlook 2010. I created 3 shared mailboxes and added the users to Full Access and Send As under Mailbox Delegation. Everything works really well on the clients for all users except one!
What happens for this one (and only) user, no matter which workstation they login to, is that the shared mailboxes show up, but they all have blue arrows on them. And when I look at the data files (the .ost files) everything is going into the personal file and not the shared mailbox files.
Eg. for a user that is working properly (no blue arrows) the .ost file sizes are like this: personal mailbox .ost size = 40K, shared mailbox 1 .ost size = 9GB, shared mailbox 2 .ost size = 2GB, shared mailbox 3 .ost size = 7GB. For my rogue user the .ost sizes are 18GB, 3K, 3K, and 3K respectively. I hope that makes sense and explains what's happening.
I'm thinking it's a permissions problem or something like that but for the life of me I cannot see any difference for this user as compared to all other users. Any clues? Thanks.
Hello guys,
I am really surprising to see one of my user who trying to sending the email internally getting the following error which i have mentioned below.

Hi,
I'm having trouble sending emails from a different email domain than the default.
I have 4 different internal domains configured in my Exchange 2007. I have a user that must have have 4 different addresses for 4 different domains.(ex: test@domain1, test@domain2, test@domain3, test@domain4)
I go to the tab "Email Addresses" on the user configuration and add the addresses i want.
For receiving, this configuration works just fine, but in Outlook when i try to send through one of those domains besides the default one, i get an error saying that I'm not authorized to send the message and that i must have permission.
Is there any way for this to work?
Thanks

We have a new employee who put in an out of office message in june and recently learned that when composing a new email in outlook to him it will show a green box next to his name, which is normal, but when we go into the box we get his picture with a message above it showing he will be out of the office in june. No one receives an autoreply saying he is out of the office so we never noticed until now. We are at a loss on how to get rid of it. In lync his available message is just hello but that never shows in outlook instead it is the above message saying he is out of the office. We even went as far as to rebuild his lync profile but the problem still persists.
