Multiple calendar invites being sent to the Attendee of a meeting request

We are facing an issue with some of the meeting rooms, where when we schedule a meeting, once the Attendee accepts, it keeps on sending the meeting invite again, multiple times.

We have checked the Organizer outlook and can see that it has triggered the entry multiple times, as it has entries in the Sent Items.

We have checked for mobile, it is happening for users who don't have email configured on mobile's as well.

This is happening mostly for users who are sending requests to the Meeting, not to individuals.

Not sure what to check as this is a big problem now as lot of users are facing the problem.

Getting inclined to delete the Meeting rooms , because I think they are the problem for this.

If anyone has faced this issue, please suggest.

Already checked google, but most of them are talking about IPhone etc, but most of them are not using phone at all, so looks like its something else.

Even moved the Resource Mailboxes to different DB's.

Hi,

I am getting the below error in Exchange 2013 and the error pointing to one of the orphaned DC. But the server is not a DC anymore and still it's pointing to that DC. Is there any way to cleanup these DC from AD Database?

Error Details:

The call to Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology service on server 'TopologyClientTcpEndpoint (localhost)' returned an error. Error details No suitable domain controller was found in domain abc.xyz.com.

Exchange 2013 RTM -> Get-ServerHealth -HealthSet not working

Hi

1)What is means by rtm release? Is this the beta version of exchange servers.

2) The -HealthSet parameter of Get-ServerHealth is not working in exchange 2013 rtm version.But in all documention  it is said to be supported from 2013. Can anyone say from which cu(cumulation update) of 2013 the healthset parameter is supported.?

Why am I not able to see responses to meeting invites when invitations are sent from a public shared calendar?

Hi, 

I have created a shared calendar and placed it in a public folder for everyone to see. 

But when members of our organisation are creating and sending out meeting requests from it they are not able to receive any replies from the attendees.  

What could the issue be?

outlook 2013 items not working

Hi
We have a few users where mail tips is not  working, free/busy information for people calendar when booking a meeting says no free busy information can be retrieve and out of office does not work, it says your automatic reply setting cannot be displayed because the server is currently unavailable. Try again later.

This is happening to a few people where others it is fine. I tried recreating outlook profile, uninstall/reinstall office, tried to do a repair install on office 2013. I narrowed down the issue where it looks to be autodiscovery not working on local computer. If I go to https:/Casserverhostname/autodiscovery/autodiscovery.xml I get page cannot be displayed but if I replace the server hostname with ip address, the xml file displays. Same if I use the oof URL, ip will work but hostname says page cannot be displayed.

I am able to ping hostname, I also reset my proxy using netsh winhttp reset proxy via command line so it matches a good working system. If I log into another system or a new machine issue still happens but other people can log into the  system and all works OK. I also tried recreating my windows profile and also removed all my credential information in credential manager.

I tried adding the server name to my host file for autodiscovery and still same issue. Need assistance as I am not sure what is causing this I ssue.

We are using Microsoft exchange 2010. If people who are experiencing this issue log into OWA all works fine.

Exchange 2010 Sp3 RU 29 Poison Queue

Hello,

I didn't find a Forum for Exchange legacy version, so I post here.

And now for my issue:

We recently install Exchange 2010 sp3 RU 29 (From E2010SP3RU25). After a few the we start getting message stuck in poison queue, every time this message get stuck the EDGETRANSPORT.EXE is killed.

I checked and find out, why this message ate getting stuck.

The message where submitted in Multi-function printer via scanner to email, this machine where wrongly configured and accepted invalid mail (like '-', '?').

Exchange should defend it self against this error, every time I resubmit this message it crashes the EDGETRANSPORT.EXE again.

  • Environment

The Scanner relay the message to a smtp server (Exchange 2010 Transport server), this server relay the message to Thr transport server in the same site as the mailbox server.

All server have Exchange 2010 SP3 RU 29 in Windows 2008 r2,  updated, servers.

Only the transport server in the mailbox server site have Forefront to Exchange install, and this are the server that crashes.

Exchange Server Clarification

Hi,

I just wanted to get some clarification regarding Exchange Server. I have a website domain sponsored through SquareSpace and want to give emails through that specific web domain. If I have a server and Exchange is installed, can I somehow create email accounts for those users without cost and with the linked web domain? I am new to Exchange so just wanted to clarify. If this is the case, wouldn't I need to adjust some DNS setting via the website editor? These users would not use cloud email services, but instead logon via remote desktop and view their emails that way. Thanks in advance for your insight.

I have Install Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 on Deploy Windows Server 2012 R2.

I have installed all prerequisites.

Now I face: Mailbox Role Transport Services

Error:
The following error was generated when "$error.Clear();
    install-ExsetdataAtom -AtomName SMTP -DomainController $RoleDomainController

" was run: "An error occurred with error code '2147504141' and message 'This property can't be found in the cache.'.".

How Can I solve this Problem

Forward NDR from Shared Mailbox

Hello,

I've setup a shared mailbox and it is able to receive NDRs. I've created a rule in the shared mailbox to forward the NDRs to a distribution list with members in it. It is not able to forward any of the NDRs to the DL. 

Any idea what I am doing wrong here?

Cert renewal for ECP

Each time logging into ECP I am receiving alerts that multiple certs on our HUB and Mailbox servers are expired. We renewed our public facing cert - no issues. I believe what is happening when navigating to the the internal ECP site the public cert got bound to it so. How does one decipher in IIS the different sites and edit the bindings?

We have our own CA which we use for our own internal IIS servers and would like to continue to use it. We must have missed a step when re-renewing the certs.

Exchange 2013 cu 21

i'm using a smarthost to send Internet emails. in the configuration, i'm using only the IP address of the smarthost since it's an internal one. in one of the mailbox server, i'm getting event ID 12014 and upon googling have found this

How to fix MSExchangeTransport Event ID 12014 on Edge and Hub Transport servers

i read the article but it doesn't apply to my send connector (since i only use the smarthost to SEND). i have a FQDN in the send connector that is used in response to a EHLO or HELO. that FQDN is found in the SAN of my certificate.

how else to resolve this event error?

Exchange server 2013 Federation Certificate Invalid

Dear Support,

We have  3 CAS server and 3 Mailbox servers, recently we observed that our Federation certificates is showing invalid so i tried to renew but it giving error "

A special Rpc error occurs on server MBX01: Federation certificates can only be managed through the FederationTrust tasks." and after automatically multiple federation certificate created.

so i tried to create certificate federation from powershell so after create certificate when i ran "Set-FederationTrust -Identity "Microsoft Federation Gateway" -Thumbprint 6A99CED2E4F2B5BE96C5D17D662D217EF58B8F73 -RefreshMetaData 

so i am getting error 

Cannot update certificate until the federation trust is provisioned with STS.

One Email disappeared from 5 Mailboxes

Hi,

We got complaints that  an important email sent from a user  to 5 recipients got disappeared from sender and recipients mailboxes. There is no rule for these mailboxes and we checked it in deleted items which also we didn't find.How can troubleshoot such issues.Kindly advice

Exchange 2013 Migration to Exchange Online Stalled for UnknownReason

I have performed a migration from Exchange 2013 to Exchange Online multiple times this week. Unfortunately, one users mailbox stalls every time i try to migrate it. The Get-MoveRequestStatistics Returns:

The job makes it to 94% complete and Stalls due to "UnknownReason"

This migration batch only has one mailbox being moved. Furthermore, I can create other migration batches and they will "Complete" with no issues.

My Luck is that the mailbox that I am having issues moving is the most important in my organization.

Has anyone experienced a StalledDueToSource_UnkownReason before? Any help would be appreciated.

Change of Exchange Namespace - Outlook 2010

HI there,

We very recently attempted to change our Internal & External Exchange namespace from outlook.domain.com to mail.domain.co.uk.

We changed all of the URLs, updated all the required DNS records, deployed a new Cert and everything was going well during the post change testing. Outlook 2016 clients where launching fine, OWA, mobile phones, everything looking good.

We hit one snag, Outlook 2010 clients would not connect to the new name space, we got the classic "The Server is unavailable - Retry | WorkOffline | Cancel" If you deleted the profile and recreated it was fine, but we couldn't have hundreds of users all calling into the the SD not being able to open outlook (they wouldn't think to recreate their profile on their own)

We had to roll back.

We are using MAPI|HTTP so the old Group Policy where you can set the RPC Client access server was not relevant to this scenario. We had no way of forcing 2010 it seems.

Can anyone suggest anything we may have missed OR know of a way you can get the outlook profile to kick into a re-autodiscover type of thing?

Outlook issue while connected to a separate VPN

Hi, 

Please can someone help me out, currently in my company we are using exchange 13 users are using win7 with outlook without any issues, we have now recently merged with a new company lets say company B so the users in my company are connecting the company B via VPN for file access and all while doing so users in my company are experiencing that after a while outlook gets disconnected while working over the vpn. 

i have tried static route on windows 7 but not having much luck. 

Please help.

how to sync Global address list of exchange server 2013 to a third party hosted server

Hi i am searching a solution for my hosted email accounts .

i have made an exchange server and connect it to my DC, i have configured mail boxes for all domain users and have a global address list on exchange server 2013 . i want to route that global address book to my hosted email server which i am using in my company .

in outlook app there is a LDAP connectivity to connect an Address book , please help to figure it out how can i connect Exchange's GAL to my hosted third party email accounts using LDAP or how to sync Global address list of exchange server 2013 to a third party hosted server
